Stayed over night and everything just matched the expectations. All the staff were pleasant and friendly, bedrooms were top drawer and the food was first class. Really made my weekend and I would definitely recommend staying there.
Well what can I say, the tasting menu at Mar Hall tonight can be summed up in one word....... Exquisite. I have never tasted food so good. I didnt want the meal to end. When you hear comments on Masterchef like an explosion of tastes and textures... that is exactly what each course was. My partner doesnt like fish and thoroughly enjoyed 2 fish courses. We will definitely be coming back. I dont want to clean my teeth my mouth just tastes of gorgeous flavours. Louise Dawson
Nice country side place to stay. Some of the rooms were excellent, far better than the ones on the subfloor level. The breakfast has a reasonable choice of items, Scottish as well as Continental selections. The dinner menu wasn't quite impressive
Had a lovely afternoon tea here with my husband and enjoyed it very much. Service was lovely and all the sandwiches and cakes etc were delicious. So nice to be served and attended to by such pleasant staff who took time to chat and a special mention to manager Scott who was very hospitable and a definite asset to Mar Hall!. Would def recommend an afternoon at this very picturesque location.
Have attended Calums Cabin charity afternoon tea here twice and both time it has been absolutely amazing. The venue is stunning, views are absolutely beautiful. The decor inside the marquee is so classy and elegant. Staff are very professional & attentive. Must go back to stay in the hotel & use the spa - if it's anything like the rest, It will be outstanding!
